As a visual verification journalist at Storyful, I’m incredibly proud of the work I do everyday to provide newsrooms with verified content. My workday consists of sourcing footage from all over the internet and determining its veracity.
Storyful, however, is a subscription-based journalism service. This means my work is not publicly available unless you’re a subscriber, and so, below you will find screenshots of my articles.
In each, you will find the what you expect, such as the headline and body. But you will also see a section labeled verification details. Under this section you will find the evidence and reasoning behind my determination of the date, location, and source.
